There were a few months during RV living where we’d stop at McDonalds almost daily to get an Iced Caramel Coffee.
While it was convenient on the road, it became less so once when we went back to “conventional” living. Super easy to make and with few ingredients, this recipe is a great copycat.
Feel free to tinker around by substituting your favorite beans or types of milk for a custom fit - have fun with it!
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons ground medium roast coffee Caramel Syrup Oatly Oat Milk
Recipe:
Using a french press (ours is 13 fl oz), add 2 tbsp of ground coffee and 6 fl oz of hot water. Steep for 5 minutes and slowly push the plunger down to filter out the coffee grounds.
Pour coffee into a separate container (we used a glass measuring cup). Add 1 tablespoon caramel syrup and stir to mix well.
In a large plastic cup (ours are 20 fl oz), drizzle caramel syrup on the inside, then fill with ice.
Pour in the coffee and top it off with milk. Enjoy!
